They spend time together doing everyday things — talking, playing games, working on homework, or just checking in. Over time, those moments build trust, confidence, and connection.

Big Brothers Big Sisters serves children and families across Central Nebraska who are looking for additional support through a one-to-one mentoring relationship.

Getting a Big is a thoughtful, supportive process designed to create strong, lasting matches.

Start by completing an enrollment form so we can learn more about your child and your family.

Our staff will meet with you and your child to understand goals, interests, and what kind of match would be the best fit.

We take time to carefully match each child with a Big based on personality, interests, location, and availability.

Once matched, our staff stays involved — supporting the Big, the child, and the family throughout the relationship.
