Hi, my name is Jacob Martikainen.  I live in Grand Island with my wife Katie, and our three boys Mason, Parker, and Hudson.  I was born in Seoul, South Korea and adopted at age four.  I grew up in Hastings and have lived in Grand Island since 2011. The community here has been great to me, and I’m honored to be in a position to give back and do more.  I’m honored to be a part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Nebraska.  I’m excited for the enormous potential and impact that BBBS has and to be a part of something bigger!​
